Can you tell me an exercise I can do to activate the Kundalini force?

Question: “I want to know how to activate the kundalini force, I am trying with some breathing exercises now, but I don't feel anything. The exercise that I am doing is very simple; I inhale and try to feel how the energy is going up from the root chakra to the crown chakra. To be honest I do not feel the energy…”

From what I know from my own experience the kundalini force will not activate until your awareness is high enough. For this reason I don't see any need to worry about 'premature' activation, it simply can't happen. To rise your awareness there is needed only one exercise to do correct and that is to quiet your thinker. Every second you succeed in becoming truly quiet in mind; your awareness will rise and change all by itself. This takes its time, and practice is what is needed to accomplish it. The more you practice the more you will become aware, that is if you are not lost in a thinking loop or technique in your meditation. For this reason it's good to get your meditation practice checked by someone who is more advanced, who can see if you might be caught in a mental technique and help steer you beyond it.

There are many techniques that can help you to quiet your thinker, both physical and meditation sitting practices. The one you mention could be a good one for you. That you can't feel the energy 'yet' doesn't mean that eventually you will. As you practice your awareness will raise VERY SLOWLY. When it gets high enough then you will become more sensitive to feeling the energy. I would suggest for you that you drop the technique of watching the energy flow from root to crown because any kind of mental intention interferes with the surrender state because it requires the use of the mind. In it's place I would suggest that you just concentrate on feeling your energy in your body wherever it happens to be. The second thing that might help you is to do something, which increases your energy before you do this practice, such as taichi, qigong, barefoot walking, yoga, etc. Exercise releases stored bodily tension from the muscles, raising your energetic vibration and you will feel more relaxed in body, so when you sit down you might be able to feel your energy more readily and become quieter.

Lastly, I would suggest you could try the routine I developed using reiki and acupressure (no teacher or training needed), which for sure will rise your energy and the technique itself is a form of 'feelings one's energy meditation', so you can do both things at once: heal and from the energy boost become more aware.
