Let’s End the Israel/Palestine Conflict by US making Peace

Ending the Israel/Palestine Conflict begins with US making Peace

This conflict has been going on a long time, in fact many thousands of years, and it is not just an Israel/Palestine conflict, infact this conflict exists everywhere on the planet! At the heart of it is every person’s quest to spiritually awaken and reunite with the one creator or God. What is going on there today with the genocide currently taking place in Gaza is showing the world what happens when we cannot come together and forgive our brothers and sisters for the pain we have caused each other in the past. Now I am not a Christian, infact I side with no religion, I like them all! However, this story from the bible shows the beginning of the current conflict taking place in Israel/Palestine:

“Before the Hebrews first migrated there around 1800 B.C., the land of Canaan was occupied by Canaanites. Between 3000 and 1100 B.C., Canaanite civilization covered what is today Israel, the West Bank, Lebanon and much of Syria and Jordan…Those who remained in the Jerusalem hills after the Romans expelled the Jews [in the second century A.D.] were a potpourri: farmers and vineyard growers, pagans and converts to Christianity, descendants of the Arabs, Persians, Samaritans, Greeks and old Canaanite tribes.” Marcia Kunstel and Joseph Albright, “Their Promised Land.”

This article would get way too long if I went into that entire story, so I leave it to the reader to educate themselves about this issue, by reading the references I have provided at the end of this article. To make it short, both sides in this war have been hurting each other back and forth over many thousands of years.

Today the world is increasingly divided across the entire planet, most of the countries today have some form of political grid-lock or battling of ethnic groups, each not wanting to see the others point of view and rather wanting their view to be the only one. What we must understand is this growing divide of peoples has been thousands of years in the making, it is just today in the world we can see our splits so clearly. Now in this divide, each person is carrying a ton of pain from the past due to the harm we have caused each other in our long history. This internal pain we each hold inside and feel we want to avenge ‘our past’ only needs a little spark to set off the battle, which we can see is what has happened in Israel and Gaza.

Let the war in Israel and Gaza be OUR WAKE UP CALL PEOPLE!

The divide between the rich and poor is growing too. Our world population of 7.1 billion and growing means that resources are getting scarce (mostly because we don’t use them wisely, or a few take more than they need and waste them), all countries borders are now closer to each other as the people expand upon all areas of the planet. You can see the tension building between different peoples all over the world, in China, in Russia to name a few and in most countries where many people are getting less and less resources and the rich are getting more. With this kind of stress all around, it is only natural that humans will react from their primitive survival instincts when they feel threatened by their survival – that old primitive way is for the powerful to make war by killing off the weaker and taking their resources from them to protect themselves.

The main thing we need to understand here is our personal fear of the other. The rich are afraid of the poor taking over, because the rich know they have taken advantage of the poor and are afraid if the poor get power, they will kill the rich. The Israel’s are afraid if the Palestinians get control because they do know how much they have hurt them and feel if they do then they will kill the Israelite’s and vice-versa. We are all afraid if the other wins then we will lose, that they will survive and we will die. That is what is at the root of it.

So you see real peace can only come to the world when we make peace with our old history. It is time now for each of us to reflect upon our history on both sides of the aisle and acknowledge what we have done to hurt other people. The truth is that in humanities quest to unite with our creator: God, we have created this division. The truth is there is no right or wrong way that is the path to find God, okay, yes there is one right path and that is the path of forgiveness, healing, peace and love. When we forgive ourselves, the next is that we ask for forgiveness to those we have harmed. Look into their eyes and tell them you are sorry, and if they will welcome it then give them a big hug! In addition, ask them what more you can do to help them heal.

Now folks, I ask everyone in the world to see what is happening right now in Israel-Gaza at the heart of the holy land, for a battle of the Holy City, is a wake up call for humanity to realize what is really at stake here! This is the SEED war, the war from the center, and if we don’t stop it, it is going to spread across the entire planet. Therefore, I ask everyone that can work TODAY to stop this war. Here are some facts that should motivate you if you really have a heart that is still alive and capable to feel:

As of July 31, 2014: “Health officials in Gaza say that at least 1,284 people have been killed in the violence, with more than 7,100 wounded. It is not clear how many of the Palestinian dead are civilians and how many are militants. Israel has lost 53 soldiers and three civilians.”

Another source says: “The Israel-Gaza conflict, since it began, has killed 1,170 people. Of those, a shocking 815 are thought to be Palestinian civilians, and 232 of those children. That means that about 7 out of 10 total deaths are innocent Palestinian civilians, and 2 out of 10 innocent Palestinian children, an appallingly high rate. Why is this conflict so disproportionately killing Palestinian civilians? What is responsible?

From this it is clear that the majority being killed right now for this Holy War are innocent civilians in Gaza, very, very few have lost life in Israel. Clearly this is case of the strong overpowering the weak, this is not a fair war by any means. People here in the USA must realize that we are doing this by ‘backing Israel’. What does it mean we back Israel anyway? It means we think their view of God is the correct one, or that these people are better than another people? Well I can understand we did it long ago when the Jews were suppressed and weak, as a way to help them. But then you have to see when this form of protection is no longer helpful but actually harmful. Israel has grown strong and is now the most powerful in the area much to do with our backing. But we must understand that the USA was founded on embracing our cultural heritage and that men and women are created equally under the eyes of God.

I rarely get involved in Politics, but this time I must speak up. We in the USA need to see clearly what is happening and by backing Israel we are just as much responsible for those innocent civilians being killed. This will only inflame the hearts of many that have been oppressed by the power of the USA over the years. For many years, the USA has been trying to help make a peace treaty over there, but I will tell you why it hasn’t worked. It is because we back Israel! It is really in our best interests to stop backing Israel as long as it is behaving like this! So to counteract it, to make peace we need to back Gaza! This is not only something the USA must do but also all those living in Israel. Let’s make peace with each other, the governments can’t do it, but those that love each other can do it. We can reach across the aisles and make peace. Now see it clear this is not about withdrawing support for Israel, it is rather about supporting both countries that are at war! We do what are the best interests of everyone.

WHAT CAN WE DO? Create Human-Body Shields all over the Planet!

I offer the following suggestion which if we use the power of our hearts and social networking (going viral) lets put an end to this war and get a peace movement started!
Everyone in the USA and all over the world join or organize Gaza support rallies and try to gather a as many people as possible together on one day – like a million man march in every city — all on one day – and ask your leaders to quit backing Israel as long as they behave like this, and to provide protection to Gaza against Israel until the guns stop firing. Everyone in Israel organize all your people in a different way, assemble as many people a possible and join hands and walk over into Gaza as a human body shield and see what is going on over there and help those that are suffering, tell them you love them, bring medical supplies, food, clothing, water, hug them, ask for forgiveness. Write your stories about what is going on there, blog about it and create awareness of the reality of war. Create a human-body shield and walk into Gaza, that should make a really quick Cease-Fire.

Then the next step for peace would be that the two countries take down their borders and merge it into one, if the will of the people on both sides of the fence agree to that, it will be done. Then instead of fighting about who owns this Holy Land we will realize where true Holy Land is — it’s not in the land itself, rather it is in our HEARTS. Then we might next realize that what all this history was about is God’s desire to bring us all back to together, as one people in the promised land which is the entire planet. In addition, what is the promised land truly? It is loving our brother and sister, the end of war and famine and living peacefully together as one united family on the earth. Now if this wound can be healed here, then I have high hopes that wave of peace will spread around the world and we can drop all our national borders and quit fighting over resources and self-survival at the expense of killing others. Truly, who feels good abotu what is happening over there, how can you feel good to survive, when you know you did it at the expense of killing others?

To be clear this is not about taking sides! Rather, it is about backing both sides and bringing the people of Palestine and Israel back together.

Love & Blessings,
Betsy
