POEM: Oh, Truth, Where are you?

In the world of what has been,
in the world of things
pure truth doesn’t exist,
pure truth can’t be found,
only a whisper and trace
of it’s passing can be detected.

So take heed, no guru holds the truth
neither can you hold the truth.
As being source, truth can’t be held, kept
or lost, truth can only be ‘expressed’
into the world of tangible things, molded and
remolded into one new thing after another.

Quit looking for truth in the outside,
in the world of things and forms,
as no pure truth will ever be found there.
Rather, the source of truth is the source of you,
the source of all life, the wellspring that gives
birth to all new things - and that you can tap into.

This truth is always with you, like a pool full of water
on reserve, waiting to refresh you, you only have to
dip into it when you choose to and are ready to take the plunge.
Yet, truth is elusive for us to touch because we are so used
to being busy with our outside world ‘doings’, using our mental
tools of reflection and seeing – so it will need a lot of practice.

When you can willfully STOP all external activity of
being busy using your ‘outside reflection tools’ of mind,
emotions, senses and body and can get COMPLETELY STILL
and silent with no MOVEMENT whatsoever, in that exact
moment you will merge and be as one with truth.
Then you will know where truth is and seeking for truth will be over.

I hope this answers your question on where to find truth and clearly points you in the right direction to find it yourself: seek it within.

Good poem. I'm not sure there actually IS any truth but nonetheless I liked the poem.

I agree with you, i would repeat the same nearly identical.
Nice to see a friend today. Thanks for your words.

Starting to feel like expressing myself, too long not doing so, the last
6 months building up a record business on the internet, working 80 hours
per week, 7 days a week non-stop. On a positive note, it's the first time
I build my own business, so it gives me confidence to do it again for
something more worthwhile. Too much energy being spent,
trying to survive in this depressed economy, living in a toxic environment
with people I don't want to be around any longer... so that's my truth today.
Namaste'
